Route anywhere, with sharper controls in your hands

This update focuses on refining the user experience with better controls, visual improvements, and some bug fixes. Highlights include a functional rubber band line in Trip Builder, a new Any routing profile for flexible route generation, enhanced keyboard shortcuts that now work across more devices, and improved Map Legend styling with dedicated gravel road representation. The Section Editor gains Cancel and Save/Close buttons for better workflow control, while PWA users get a convenient reload button. Several toggles and display issues have been resolved to ensure features work as intended.

Changes

• Trip Builder improvements
  • The rubber band line was non-functional. I took some time to refactor this and it should now be working during your design sessions. Any time you move a track point a straight line will be drawn from that track point to any adjacent track points.
  • Introducing of the Any routing profile. This profile will provide a route regardless of road type or surface. Always exercise caution and good judgment when following a route generated with this profile.
• Section Editor improvements
  • A new Cancel button has been added to the section editor. When you use this button it will forget all changes that were made after opening the section for editing.
  • A Save/Close button is present alongside the Cancel button.
• Map Legend
  • The Map Legend has been improved to better align with road types.
  • The gravel road type also now has it's own styling.
• Places Manager
  • When editing a Place you can now use the new Visibility and Fly To buttons directly from the editor.
• Improved keyboard controls
  • Keyboard controls have been reworked and should now support more devices (I'm looking at you, MacOS)
  • Pan (arrow keys), rotate (q/e keys), pitch (w/s keys), zoom (+/- keys) are all supported
• Progress Web App improvements
  • A new reload button has been added to the changelog interface when the site is loaded as a PWA.
  • This gives users who have saved the app to their device as a PWA an easy way to restart it.
• General Items
  • Map feature tooltip will show surface type if defined
  • Section split functionality should be improved due to the work done to implement the rubber band line
  • The mouse cursor should update its icon accordingly during use

Fixes

• General Items
  • Toggling of municipalities should now properly apply to more cases. I believe I've covered it all but let me know if I've missed any!
  • The unclassified toggle (Premium) was not properly hiding those road types
  • Downloaded GPX files will be regenerated with proper schema if they were generated prior to Rumo
  • Fixed cases where attempting to log in would fail and the user would be stuck at the log in form
  • Fixed some issues with saving and updating trips that could lead to failure to save
