Terms of Service

The best way to reach us is Get Help in your account menu. It files a report you can follow, reply to, and see the outcome of, and you will receive email updates as it progresses.

A report carries a technical snapshot of your session so that a problem can be reproduced rather than guessed at. You are shown exactly what it contains before you send it, and it is covered by Section 4 of our Privacy Policy.

Where a reported problem affects more than one person, we may describe it in our public Known Issues list. Those entries are written by us and are never attributed to you.

We usually reply within 48 hours. If we are away, you are told so before you send, along with when we expect to be back. For anything else, including account and billing matters, contact: support@rumoadventures.com

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. By submitting content, you grant Rumo a limited license to store, display, and distribute that content solely for operating and improving the service.

You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

The community board
Anything you post on the community board — ideas, comments and votes — is public, readable without an account, and shown under your username.

Disagreement is the point of the board, and disagreeing with an idea is never grounds for reporting it. Personal attacks, harassment and spam are.

We may remove a post that breaks these Terms, and may close a discussion that has stopped being one. In rare cases — content that must not remain published at all — the text of a post is erased permanently. Removal is not a judgement on the person, and we will tell you when something of yours is removed.

You can withdraw an idea yourself while nobody else has commented or voted on it. After that, ask through support.

Board posts outlive your account
Deleting your account does not delete what you posted on the board. It stays, with your name removed and replaced by “a former member”. This is the opposite of how the rest of Rumo works, and it is deliberate: other people replied to and voted on what you wrote, and taking your half away would leave their half answering nothing.

Our Privacy Policy sets this out in full. By posting on the board you accept it.

Nothing on the roadmap is a promise
Votes tell us what matters to people; they do not decide what gets built, and they are not a queue. An idea marked Wishlist or Roadmap says we intend to build it, not when. Nothing on the board or the roadmap forms part of any agreement between us, and no subscription entitles you to a particular feature being built.

Paid subscriptions are billed according to the plan selected.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you have a billing dispute, please contact Customer Support.

You may cancel your account at any time.
Upon cancellation, access to paid features will end according to your billing cycle.

From time to time, Rumo may offer promotions or special terms. These offers are subject to their own conditions, which will be provided at the time of the offer.

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change or be discontinued as the service evolves.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rumo Adventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
