Ooooh, shiny! 🤩

With this release comes improvements to the map viewing experience when using Trip Builder V2. You'll now find an additional button on the left that allows you to enable 3D rendering mode. This will give you a more immersive experience when viewing your Trips, Places and other map features.

Changes

• V2 Trip Builder
  • 3D Mode
    • Added a new button to the left side of the map that allows you to toggle 3D mode on and off
  • A much more full-featured satellite map style
    • The satellite map style has been updated to include terrain data and rendering of additional features
  • Map Style Control
    • The Map Style Control has been updated to now store your preferred map style in your user settings
    • Whenever you return to the site, it will automatically apply your last map style
  • Improved Performance
    • Changes have been made to improve performance when using V2, especially with larger Trips
  • Additional Map Feature categories
    • Added nature and transportation feature categories that will provide feedback to the user when they hover over a feature of these types on the map
• General Items
  • Password Strength Indicator
    • The new user and update password forms have been updated to include a password strength indicator that will provide feedback to the user as they type their password
    • This will make it easier for users to create strong passwords and will help improve security across the site
