Better visualizations, progress feedback and improved user settings
Full release notes
This release includes a number of improvements to the Trip Builder experience, as well as some general bug fixes.
Changes
- Even better data visualization on your tracks
- Track data such as elevation and slope can now be leveraged to show a gradient of colors on your tracks. The gradient applied can be configured in the Map Settings panel which provides a few presets and also gives you the ability apply your own custom style!
- More Section detail on the Feature card
- When hovering over a Section you should now see more detail about that Section, including distance and travel time. This applies to both Sections you're actively building as well as those in Pinned Trips.
- Note: Trips that were pinned prior to this release will not have this additional data, and you will need to unpin and pin them again to to see this data.
- Routing indicator improvements
- Added an overlay to the Trip Builder interface when routing is in progress to help avoid interaction with components that could lead to unintended changes.
- Set your preferred default routing profile and default travel speed
- You can now set your preferred default routing profile and default travel speed in your User Settings. This will be applied to any new Sections you create while building a Trip.
- Note: Default travel speed only applies to Sections where routing is not being used.
- General Items
- Added days to travel time presentation. The time will be represented in days, hours and minutes if the Trip's travel time is greater than 48 hours.
- Some additional UI polish.
Fixes
- General Items
- Places were not showing a Feature card when hovered over.
- Fixed an issue where the context menu would not display properly when right-clicking on a search result.
- Context menu was not clearing correctly in some scenarios.
- When using filters on waypoints in the Trip Builder, those filters were not being applied correctly.
- User login form was incorrectly validating password inputs.
