This release is a roll up of a number of outstanding improvements and fixes that have been made over the past few weeks. The focus of this release is on quality of life improvements and bug fixes to enhance the overall user experience.
Changes
- UI
- A more responsive design has been implemented across many components to provide better support for different screen sizes
- A new UI has been created for situations where you encounter a site crash. It will provide better feedback and next steps.
- Updated the size of the watermark a bit based on some feedback
- GPX Export
- Hidden sections will no longer be included in exported GPX
- Trip builder interface
- Added all new menus and improved buttons to the sections, waypoints and places interfaces
- Sections can now be toggled between "show", "hide", and "dim". Note that when a section is hidden, it will not be exported to GPX. Dim is useful when you want to mute a section during your build session.
- Shaping points numbering is now more responsive and intended to provide more space to the details in the shaping point
- General Items
- You will now see the elevation of a position when you right-click on it on the map
- Updated hillshading to a new CDN-based endpoint
Fixes

- Improved GPS string matching during lookups using the search field
- Corrected issues with trip reversal where routing would get stuck
- The collapsed/expanded state of sectioned will be retained upon entering/leaving section edit mode
- The 'G' key will no longer cause rendering of a thumbnail when using the filter field
- Corrected situations where some UI was overlapping other components incorrectly
- Corrected a bug that appeared for new users when their account was set up with partial map styling data
- Fixed a scenario where dragging a shaping point would lead to broken routing results
- Improved colors on buildings to make them more visible to users
