Pricing FAQ
What early launch means, and what happens when it ends.
- Is Rumo free?
- Rumo will always offer a free plan with core planning features. During the early launch phase, all plans are available at no cost. Plans are granted for 30 days at a time and can be renewed freely. Pricing and billing details will be announced before launch. At time of launch, any access granted during this phase will be invalidated.
- What's the difference between plans?
- Plans differ mainly in advanced map features and how much you can store. All plans include GPX export and integrate with DMD Hub. The free plan supports up to 50 trips and 500 places.
- What does “store” mean?
- “Store” refers to how many trips and places you can keep in your Rumo account so they're available later.
- What does GPX export do?
- GPX export lets you take a trip you planned in Rumo and use it in compatible devices or apps. Exporting is optional — trips remain stored in Rumo whether or not you export them.
- How does Rumo integrate with DMD Hub?
- Rumo integrates with DMD Hub as part of your trip-planning workflow without implying automatic device sync or automation.
- Can I change plans later?
- Yes. During the early launch phase, you can switch plans at any time. Selecting a plan grants you 30 days of access, and you can renew at any time to extend it by another 30 days.
- What happens to my data if I downgrade later?
- If you downgrade, your stored trips and places are not deleted. If you exceed the limits of your new plan, you may need to remove items before creating or storing additional ones.
- Will my plan automatically start billing after early launch?
- No. There is no automatic billing at the end of the early launch phase. You'll have clear notice before any paid plans take effect.
- Is Rumo replacing my navigation app?
- No. Rumo is focused on planning and preparation, and it's designed to complement the tools you already use for navigation.
Rumo runs on real infrastructure.
Every plan is free while Rumo is in early launch, and the servers aren't. If you're getting something out of it, a contribution keeps the maps served and the features coming.
