Say hello to Rumo!

Today marks an important milestone — I'm excited to officially introduce Rumo.

Rumo is the Portuguese word for direction or heading — a fitting reflection of what the platform is built to do — and gives a nod to our partnership with the DMD Navigation team. Developed on the foundation of ADVHub and in close collaboration with the DMD team, Rumo focuses on better trip planning, sharing, and deeper integration within the DMD ecosystem for adventurers.

ADVHub has now been rebranded to Rumo. All existing users have already been migrated, and your data is available using your existing credentials. ADVHub is no longer under active development, and all future updates will be delivered through Rumo.

You can access Rumo at rumo.avaryx.com during the Early Launch phase and continue using it for free. Tier pricing will be introduced closer to the official launch.

• DMD HUB integration
  • The initial phase of DMD HUB integration is live!
  • Public Locations from DMD HUB are now visible in Rumo by default, no connection to DMD HUB necessary.
  • Connect to DMD HUB through your user menu, or under Your Account > Connections.
  • Linking to your DMD account from Rumo will also show Locations you've created in DMD HUB.
  • More integrations are coming soon, including the ability to sync Trips and Locations between the two platforms.
• Improved User Settings
  • The User Settings panel has been revamped to provide a better overall experience.
  • Settings have been added to customize your DMD HUB integration experience.
• Improved satellite view
  • The satellite view has been enhanced with better imagery.
• GPX standardization
  • A lot of effort went into standardizing GPX import and export to ensure compatibility with a wide range of devices and applications.
  • This also includes an updated schema for GPX files being generated by Rumo.
• Updated Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Pricing Pages
  • The Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Pricing pages have been updated to reflect the changes brought by Rumo and its integration with DMD HUB.
  • A lot of care and consideration went into these updates to ensure clarity and transparency. Please review them at your earliest convenience, and reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Pricing is still in development, but you can now review the tiers and features on the Pricing page.
  • Continue using the service for free during the Early Launch phase!

  • A cookie consent banner has been added to comply with privacy regulations.
  • See the updated Privacy Policy for more details.
