Full-Featured Folder View

Organize your trips into custom folders with their own name, icon, and color — complete with drag-and-drop, ZIP import/export, and thumbnails generated on import.

Outline Mode

Turn on Render sections as outline to see the map data right underneath the section you're building.

Via Points

Mark any placed point as a via point to build planned stop time into your trip.

Basic / Advanced Legend

The Map Legend now toggles between basic and advanced — strip the clutter while browsing, or flip to the full Premium experience. Premium only.

Elevation Zones

The elevation chart now highlights ascent and descent zones with distinct color coding.

This update comes with significant improvements to how you organize and build your trips — with new folder management, improved map visualizations, and smarter controls that put you in charge of your adventure.

Changes

  • A brand new full-featured folder view
    • Trips are now presented in full-featured folder view that supports customization and drag-and-drop functionality
    • You can create folders for your trips, customize their name, give them an icon, and adjust the icon color
    • Import and export support both individual, multiple and ZIP files for ease of organization
    • Trip thumbnails are now generated on import as well
  • Improved Trip Builder experience
    • Trip sections now show data more clearly, keeping some data points (such as distance and time) always visible
    • You can mark placed points as via points using the flyout menu - Use this to add time to your trip by declaring these points as places to stop for a while.
    • Use the Render sections as outline option in your user settings to see the map data underneath the section you're building
    • You can drag and drop a GPX right into your trip builder to import directly to the trip you're currently working on
  • Elevation Chart
    • The elevation chart now indicates both ascent and descent zones with color-coded representations of each
  • Map Legend (Premium)
    • The map legend now has a toggle that allows you to choose between basic and advanced
    • Using basic will reduce the map to basic map features to remove clutter while you're browsing in a more general way
    • Flip to Advanced to get the full premium experience
  • Pinned Trips
    • You can now customize pinned trips individually or as a group to easily set certain pins apart from others
  • General Items
    • A more cohesive look across many of the components
    • The Places Manager now shows the full list of places instead of relying on pagination
    • The What Happened feature will now flash a bit to make it more apparent something occurred that has been documented for your review.
